NetApp enables Hexaware to deliver Cloud Services

NetApp India, in partnership with Hexaware, will enable Hexaware to provide a flexible and easy-to-manage secure multi-tenant storage environment. Hexaware's Cloud Service, titled RAINMAKER, is designed to provide IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Storage-as-a-Service (SaaS) to users, and will be provided via NetApp's secure and multi-tenant storage solutions and VMware's vCloud Director. This is also the first implementation of VMware vCloud Director for cloud services on NetApp storage in India.

Users will benefit from RAINMAKER as it will not only deliver IaaS, PaaS and SaaS (ERP), demonstrate Secure Multi-Tenancy, but will also provide integrated data protection and an outstanding user experience on the cloud.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications.
