Reliance Globalcom partners with Ciena

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Ciena Corporation  has announced that Reliance Globalcom has selected Ciena’s WaveLogic coherent optical 100G networking solutions to upgrade its FLAG Europe-Asia (FEA) submarine network. Based on Ciena’s OPn architecture, the 100G network will bring immense capacity increases to a route that connects Egypt and Jordan to satisfy customer demand for high-bandwidth services, while using its existing fiber infrastructure to support growing bandwidth requirements. As part of the network upgrade, Reliance Globalcom will deploy a 100G DWDM system with Ciena’s 6500 Packet-Optical Platform equipped with WaveLogic coherent optical line interfaces.... See More

Red Hat delivers Open On-Premise PaaS Offering for Enterprises

PNY introduces new USB Pendrive

Designed to appear like the infinity "∞" symbol, this USB pendrive attempts to deliver the message of infinite love and peace. The pendrive comes in blue colour, another subliminal way of delivering the same message. The HP v180w is made of strong polymer that even covers the tapering front USB plug, protecting it against corrosion. While most of the surface is glossy, the end where it is required to hold it has a matte finish to make it easier to retrieve it from the port. The pendrive is available in capacities of 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB. The drive has a USB 2.0 interface which is backward compatible with older USB ports. HP announces grant winners of EIFI

The US$1 million fund is designed to promote education projects that use innovative learning approaches in Science, Technology and Mathematics (STEM), pedagogy, curriculum development and holistic learning to advance education delivery and reach in India. The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM, A) was awarded the top grant of Rs.1 crore. Their ready-to-scale project titled Educational Innovation Bank (EI Bank) is designed to improve the quality of education in the public school system, based on the work of innovative school teachers....
