IBM partners with NGOs

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE IBM has announced four community projects for the city of Indore as a part of the Corporate Service Corps (CSC) program. The projects are said to be implemented in partnership with Concept Society, India@75, Government of Madhya Pradesh, and the Urban Health Resource Centre (UHRC). A team comprising of 12 IBMers from nine different countries (Japan, Canada, Chile, Brazil, USA, Australia, Mexico, Germany and Argentina) will work on these projects for a period of six months including one month on location. The projects will focus on developing sustainable solutions for Indore. The team will also work with the Government of Madhya Pradesh in efficient tracking and monitoring of the various programs under the Labour Department. For India@75, the IBM-CSC team will create a viable plan for community organizations to use to improve the management of water resources in the city.
