Micromax YU introduces portable photo printer

Micromax’s sub-brand YU has launched a new portable photo printer called YUPIX. It has an image quality (IQ) score of 175 and converts digitally captured memories into 2.1×3.4-inch printed photos in 60 seconds. According to the company, the printer’s image transfer speed is 10 times faster than Bluetooth due to a Wi-Fi/NFC/Wi-Fi Direct enabled connection compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones. It has a resolution of 291dpi and supports 16.7million colours. The printer has a size of 2.99×6.01×0.94-inches and a net weight of 273gms including the battery and cartridge. It’s backed by a 750mAh battery.
