mPassport Mobile App now available on Windows and iOS Platforms

The app will provide passport-related information on the smartphones. This is an extended service of the Passport Seva Project, executed in Public-Private-Partnership mode with Tata Consultancy Services. The users will be able to search for a  Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)  or District Passport Cell (DPC) in a district where a passport application can be submitted using their Windows and iOS platforms. Vodafone slashes Internet charges by 80% in India

This rate would be applicable from November 1, 2013 for all pre-paid and post-paid customers on 2G on a "Pay-as-you- Go" basis. The rate cut from 10p/10KB to 2p/10KB will make the Internet more affordable for customers who use mobile internet in a limited way.
