Acer redefines its Product Portfolio 
Acer India has launched its new notebook range under the TravelMate series - the Acer TM P243.  Powered by the third-generation Intel Core i processor with Turbo Boost Technology, the TM P243 notebook comes packed with a suite of security and connectivity features along with 14" high-definition LED backlit display with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India, said, "Machine specs, astounding visual graphics with multimedia capabilities, modern software solutions, etc. are a given in this era. We have consciously made an effort to redesign the entire range of Acer products keeping in mind the key aspects that are important for the SMB segments such as Security and Durability. The TravelMate P243 boasts of Acer's own dynamic security technology solution that takes care of Data Protection.  At the same time, we also believe that the TM P243 is one of the sturdiest notebooks in the market."
In addition, TravelMate P243 comes with Backup/eRecovery Manager to back up all valuable data and media library and incorporate NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M graphics card. The notebook also has an HDMI port and a USB 3.0 port that enables quick charging of mobile devices via USB even when powered off.  Furthermore, the notebook is embedded with Wi-Fi CERTIFIED connection and Gigabit Ethernet along with Bluetooth 4.0+HSto to ensure speedy internet connectivity.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
