DIGISOL launches new 8 Ports PoE Switches 
DIGISOL has introduced its two new 8 ports Fast Ethernet unmanaged Switches DG-FS1008PF/E and DG-FS1008PH with PoE Ports. These switches are designed to enhance network performance in a compact form factor. These switches offer 10/100Mbps Ethernet PoE port complaint with IEEE 802.3af. The DG-FS1008PF/E offers 8 fast Ethernet PoE ports and DG-FS1008PH offers 4 fast Ethernet PoE ports. Thus, these switches are an ideal solution for small Ethernet workgroups and applications requiring PoE.
These switches uses store and forward packet switching technology which ensures reliable data transfer. The switches also support automatic MDI/MDI-X detection which eliminates the need of a crossover cables or dedicated uplink ports. The switch has a sturdy and versatile desktop design which can also be mounted in a network rack.
The DG-FS1008PF/E and DG-FS1008PH offer 8x10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet support. These PoE ports are IEEE 802.3af compliant and can supply up to 15.4 watt per port. The existing Ethernet cables can be used to power up IEEE802.3af compliant network devices. These new switches support data transfer at an average of 200Mbps per port in full duplex mode. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
