ASUS launches Windows 8 Compatible Motherboard 
ASUS has launched M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard with Dual Intelligent Processors technology. This motherboard consists of the EPU (Energy Processing Unit) to monitor power consumption system for ensuring efficiency, and the TPU (TurboV Processing Unit) - guaranteeing superior performance for every task, bringing users an unbeatable experience. The TPU chip offers precise voltage control and advanced monitoring through Auto Tuning and TurboV functions. EPU enables a system-wide energy optimization by automatically detecting current PC loadings and intelligently moderating power consumption. This motherboard also comes with a Windows 8 Ready Compatibility.
This motherboard also supports AMD CPUs in the new 32nm manufacturing process. AMD 970 Chipset is designed to support up to 4800MT HyperTransport 3.0 (HT 3.0) interface speed and PCI Express 2.0 x16 graphics. It is optimized with AMD’s latest AM3+ and multi-core CPUs to provide excellent system performance and overclocking capabilities.
With the AMD Vision Engine Control Center the display can be configured and complete 3D settings, with real-time 3D-rendered previews can be experienced. The motherboard is European Union’s Energy-related Products (ErP) ready, and ErP requires products to meet certain energy efficiency requirements in regard to energy consumptions.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
