Sunil Dutt quits HP PSG in pursuit of new goals

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Sunil Dutt has marked an end to his career with HP PSG and joins Blackberry to head its India business. Before his resignation to HP India, he was serving as the Vice-President & General Manager of HP PSG division. May 30th would be his last working day at HP. In an earlier statement released, HP India said that PSG is on a look out for a replacement for Sunil and the new head will soon be announced to the media. Sunil Dutt joined as the head of HP PSG in November 2009, replacing Ravi Swaminathan. He is accredited with making several changes in the HP PSG distribution. Prior to HP, Dutt has worked for some of the renowned brands in the country like Samsung, Nokia, Barista, Whirlpool, Wipro and Philips, holding distinguished positions. India to leverage IBM's US$38M Investment in New Data Centres

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE IBM has announced a US$38M investment in a new IBM Asia-Pacific Cloud Computing Data Centre in Singapore, which will provide businesses in India with solutions and services to harness the potential of cloud computing. The new facility will extend IBM's globally-integrated cloud delivery network with centres in Germany, Canada and the United States; and 13 global cloud labs, of which seven are based in Asia-Pacific - China, India, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore. Ajai Chowdhry awarded Padma Bhushan

Pratibha Devisingh Patil. Ajai Chowdhry is one of the six founder-members of HCL, India's original IT garage start-up founded in 1976, is today a global enterprise of over Rs.24,000 crore with a global headcount of 79,000 people.
