BT joins hands with Dell EMC

BT and Dell EMC have entered into a research collaboration dedicated to exploring a new way of managing network traffic.  The proof-of-concept trial, which is taking place at the BT Labs in Adastral Park, Suffolk, will explore how disaggregated switching can create flexible networks which are more responsive to customer needs by using standard open network switches commonly found in data centers, coupled with specialist switching software.  Neil J. McRae, Chief Architect for BT, said, “This proof-of-concept trial with Dell EMC will enable us to evaluate the performance of disaggregated switches against traditional integrated network switches, and make informed decisions about the role this kind of solution will play in the dynamic network services of the future. Brain resigns from American manufacturing Council

Brian Krzanich, CEO-Intel has resigned from the American Manufacturing Council, the group set up by President Donald Trump to advise his government on issues related to manufacturing in the country, over current political climate in the US and alleged politics-driven hate crimes.  His resignation came days after Trump’s response to the violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia on 12 August.  Krzanich’s statement on his resignation from the American Manufacturing Council  “Earlier today, I tendered my resignation from the American Manufacturing Council. I resigned to call attention to the serious harm our divided political climate is causing to critical issues, including the serious need to address the decline of American manufacturing. Amazon share price dips after President Trump Tweets

There is no doubt on the statement of President Donald Trump blasted on social media and twits on how the e-commerce giant is hurting retailers and causing U.S. job losses. “Doing great damage to tax paying retailers” tweets , President Trump.  With a single tweet, the tech giant Amazon shares fell as much as 1 percent ( drops by $5B) in the premarket session after Trump's tweet.
