If reports are to be believed, this is the first major break from the omnibus IT industry body  NASSCOM  which could reflect the growing confidence and maturity of the software product community. As a result of the breakaway from NASSCOM, a new association will be formed, which will be named the Indian Software Product Industry Round Table (iSpirt). The founding members expect the basic building blocks to develop an improved software industry.
