Konica Minolta buys printing business of Monotech Systems

Konica Minolta has announced its acquisition of the Production Printing business of Monotech Systems Limited. The acquisition will come into effect from June 1, 2015. MSL is currently a distributor for Konica Minolta in India. With offices all across India, Monotech Systems Limited has a large customer base. Upon completion of the acquisition, Konica Minolta will operate out of 40 locations providing direct sales and service support to its customers. Under the agreement, all Konica Minolta customers with Monotech Systems will be transferred to it and the staff serving to production printing division of Monotech Systems will also be transferred to Konica Minolta. The other three distributors HCL Infosystems Limited, KMI Business Technologies Private Limited and TechNova Imaging Systems Limited will continue to be our valued business associates and operate, as earlier. Atos has opened the IT Integration Testing Lab for the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It marks the successful completion of a major milestone in the run up to the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the start of 200,000 hours of IT testing. Although invisible to most people, the IT provided by Atos plays an essential role in making the Games a success. For example, Atos provides the systems that beam the results around the world in less than a second for use on television, online and on multiple devices; the portal to support the recruitment and training of 70,000 volunteers and the solution that processes 300,000 accreditation passes so those involved in the Games can access the areas they need during the Games as well as providing those in the Olympic Family (media, TOP Partners, athletes and sports officials) travelling from overseas with a visa to enter Brazil. IEEE has released global survey results indicating that the human mind will be the technology of choice to control devices used in everyday life in 2025. The results from the survey, which had a sample of more than 3,000 technology enthusiasts, note a decline in the significance of cellphone and mobile devices as the primary means of controlling technology, and highlight autonomous vehicles as the preferred mode of transportation in the future. “As technology evolves, it becomes more and more integrated with our daily lives and its physical presence shrinks,” said IEEE member Diogo Monica, security lead at Docker. “Consumer technology is advancing beyond the constraints of mobile devices to wearable form-factors, and the next step in this evolution will be the ability to control technology in a hands-free way using brainpower alone. Adobe has announced that Nissan has deployed Adobe’s digital marketing solution, Adobe Marketing Cloud globally as a unified digital marketing platform for Renault-Nissan Alliance, to help the company deliver an integrated customer experience and consistent image across its multiple brands. In the past, Nissan had executed digital marketing tactics under the direction of each region, preventing the company from maintaining a unified image, and proving challenging to fully leverage the power of the global brand.
