Panda Internet Security certified as 2012's High Malware Detection tests

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Panda Internet Security 2012 has obtained good results in the latest detection tests conducted by the AV-Test.org and AV-Comparatives.org laboratories. These tests simulate real life conditions very closely, pitting antivirus products against actual threats that can be found on the Web or on users' computers. Panda Security ranked third out of 22 antivirus products in the tests carried out by AV Test.org in Q2/2011, receiving the Certified badge. It was also one of only four products to achieve a score higher than 15 points. Nokia unveils its 3 new 'touch and type' models

Nimbus intros new S-Class series flash memory line

The company claims that the new line, which retains the S-Class designation, is three times faster than the original launched in 2010. The new S-Class supports Fibre Channel and Infiniband networking natively, in addition to the existing 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet support. eBay deploys 100 TB flash memory system

Nimbus' deployment at eBay started with one system and expanded to 12 systems in less than a year. The Nimbus solution delivered near line-rate 10 Gigabit Ethernet iSCSI performance to the VMware hosts, while consuming 78 per cent less energy and 50 per cent less rackspace than conventional disk-based solutions, claims the company.
