NICE partners with Silver Lining Solutions

MWC 2013: SAP reveals New Services to fuel LTE Adoption

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   SAP AG(NYSE:SAP)  has announced the findings of its third consecutive  GSMA Mobile World Congress survey , which found that the industry leaders believe improved data speed for customers (36 per cent) and offering new IP-based services (30 per cent) are the primary drivers for operators launching LTE services. The survey aims at addressing top issues facing the mobile ecosystem and reflects the sentiments of mobile operators, fixed telecommunication providers, over-the-top (OTT) players and other global mobile industry executives. The survey results predict that the new IP-based services will also be the main driver of revenue for operators in 2013. Fifty-eight per cent of the respondents believe that new offerings, including rich communication services (RCS) and 4G/LTE and increased data usage by smartphone users will drive operator’s revenue. HP starts fulfilling UP Government Contract for providing 1.5M Notebooks

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ)  has begun fulfillment for India’s largest digital inclusion project - the distribution of 1.5 million HP notebooks by the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government to eligible students in the state. The first 10,000 HP notebooks were handed out by the  Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Shri Akhilesh Yadav , in Lucknow. As part of the project, HP notebooks are being provided by the UP state government to all students passing Class 12 or equivalent examinations in 2012, and enrolling in higher education, in the Uttar Pradesh region.
