"3D Printing" reaches new heights; creates "Bionic Ear"

Keeping this thought in mind, a group of scientists, including an Indian-origin researcher, has designed a 3D printed "bionic" ear that can "hear" radio frequencies far beyond the range of normal human capability. For this, scientists at the Princeton University explored 3D printing of cells and nano particles, followed by cell culture to combine a small coil antenna with cartilage. IBM and Jet Airways sign 10-Year Pact

Under the contract, IBM will manage the customer call centre, including providing improved analytics capabilities and a  “refreshed” IT infrastructure for Jet Airways . Also, IBM will offer a contact centre and backoffice services for JET Airways’ 11 lines of business, including domestic and international reservations, Jet Privilege programme, cargo, refunds and helpdesk services. Here, it is important to note that the latest arrangement is an extension of their (Jet Airways and IBM’s) three-year relationship under which IBM helped Jet Airways to transform its core IT infrastructure.
