Kingston extends Its Speedy Class 10 microSDHC cards

Kingston will add a 32GB capacity to the family in Q2. The Class 10 cards have a fast minimum data transfer rate of 10MB/s. "Kingston's Class 10 microSDHC cards are compatible with many of the latest mobile phones, including Android smartphones and BlackBerry devices, hi-def cameras and the increasingly popular tablet PCs," said Nathan Su, Flash Memory Sales Director, APAC Region, Kingston. Amity group at the school as well as higher educational level has replaced its old PC-based computer labs with Ncomputing L 230 virtual desktop devices and vSpace virtualization software. The first phase of the rollout involved replacing few computer labs in Amity Universities and schools in Delhi and NCR. Schneider Electric takes over DIGILINK Business from Smartlink

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE The Board of Directors of Smartlink Network Systems Ltd. has entered into a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd. for the sale of Smartlink's DIGILINK Business to the latter for a consideration of Rs. 5,030 million payable in cash. Each of these businesses provides a robust platform for future growth. RippleWave Equity acted as the sole financial advisors to the Company for the Transaction and Amarchand Mangaldas were the legal advisors to Smartlink. The Transaction would primarily include the transfer of the "DIGILINK" brand and trademarks, manufacturing facility at Goa, distribution network and the employees relating to the business. The Company has agreed to a non-compete condition for a period of 5 years for the passive networking business. The Transaction is subject to shareholder approval and other customary conditions. K. R.
