Microsoft in deal with RenRen

The two companies are said to cooperate on providing universal login access to both platforms and cross sharing of photos and status updates. The agreement is to reach a significant level of integration between the two platforms, Renren claimed. Liu Jian, COO, Renren said, "Renren's alliance with MSN network is in the spirit of a win-win situation." McAfee releases Q2 2011 Threats Report

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE McAfee has released its Q2 2011 Threats Report showing that the amount of malware targeted at Android devices jumped 76 percent since last quarter, to become the most attacked mobile operating system. 2011 has also resulted in the busiest ever first half-year in malware history, including a first-ever appearance of Mac fake AV and a significant uptick in rootkits, suggesting that McAfee's malware "zoo" collection will reach a record 75 million samples by the year's end. Vincent Weafer, Senior VP, McAfee Labs said, "This year we've seen record-breaking numbers of malware, especially on mobile devices, where the uptick is in direct correlation to popularity. Overall attacks are becoming more stealth and more sophisticated, suggesting that we could see attacks that remain unnoticed for longer periods of time. Happiest Minds announces winner of its logo contest

Out of the 1400 submissions, Jemin Shingala's logo best reflected Happiest Mind's business philosophy. Four Companies together unveil Full HD 3D Glasses Initiative

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Panasonic, Samsung, Sony and X6D Limited (XPAND 3D) have announced their intent to collaborate on the development of a new technology standard for consumer 3D active glasses, under the name, "Full HD 3D Glasses Initiative". With this new agreement, the companies intend to work together on the development and licensing of radio frequency (RF) system 3D active glasses technology, including RF system protocols between consumer 3D active glasses and 3D displays such as televisions, personal computers, projectors and 3D theatres with XPAND active shutter glasses.
