Dinesh Malkani resigns as President of Cisco India

Dinesh Malkani, Cisco India and SAARC President, has resigned and is now believed to take on a leadership role at a start-up, but details of the same could not be ascertained. He will continue in his role until 31st July and remain associated with Cisco till the end of September.  Malkani was, however, unavailable for comments and the development was confirmed by people at Cisco. The development comes at a time when Cisco is betting big on the “Digital India” wave in the country. Flipkart's Gridlock Hackathon sees participation from 400 companies

Flipkart's Gridlock Hackathon, a one-of-a-kind initiative to crowdsource innovative, implementable solutions from the tech community and concerned citizens, that could help ease Bengaluru’s perennial traffic problem has seen participation from 400 companies.  The initiative was announced as part of the ‘Month of Innovation’ at Flipkart, a part of its 10 year anniversary celebrations.  Gridlock Hackathon was announced on 7 June and concluded the online submissions on July 2, 2017. The contest witnessed close to 3,000 registrations including over 1,000 teams. The top 10 entries will be shortlisted and invited to present their solutions on July 8 to the panel of esteemed jury comprising Binny Bansal, Group CEO, Flipkart; Sridhar Pabbisetty, CEO, Namma Bengaluru Foundation; and Abhishek Goyal, DCP, Traffic East Division, Bengaluru City.  The jury will pick the best 3 ideas judged on parameters like impact, feasibility, scalability, sustainability, and complete...

Chinese Smartphone company Lephone has introduced a new addition to its smartphone series, lephone W2. The new entrant comes with Features like 1GB RAM + 8GB ROM with 32 GB expandable memory, 2MP rear camera with LED flash with supporting 22 Indian regional languages.
