Amazon extends work-from-home period until January 2022:  Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the nation because of the more contagious delta variant,   Amazon   has delayed its return-to-office date for technology and corporate workers until January.   Before returning to office Amazon will not mandate employees receive the  COVID-19 vaccine . 9 flights fly carrying 6.5 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine:  Nine flights will transport 56.5 lakh doses of   COVID-19 vaccine   from Pune to 13 cities across the country on Tuesday. Four airlines will take charge of the operations, says   Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.   Vaccine movement has started, he said on Twitter, adding that the first two flights operated by "SpiceJet and GoAir from Pune to Delhi and Chennai have taken off".   "Today  @airindiain   @flyspicejet   @goairlinesindia  &  @IndiGo6E  will operate 9 flights from Pune with 56.5 lakh doses to Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Shillong, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Bengaluru, Lucknow & Chandigarh," he said on Twitter. Serum waits for India’s green signal for COVID-19 vaccine use:  Serum Institute of India , which is also manufacturing the   Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine in India , said that it expected the government to approve the shot for emergency use in a few days.   The company has already made 40 million to 50 million doses of the vaccine and will be able to ramp up capacity to around 100 million a month by March when a new facility comes online.   "We have 40-50 million doses of Covishield stockpiled. Once we get regulatory approvals in a few days, it'll be down to the government to decide how much they can take and how fast,"  Serum Chief Executive Adar Poonawalla  said.   "All data on Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID19 vaccine submitted in India and UK.
