Facebook eradicates 915 malicious accounts and 606 fake accounts from Instagram:  February, the social media giant –   Facebook   removed 915 malicious accounts from its main app and 606 fake accounts from   Instagram . The accounts were involved in misleading users.   The  social media platform  has also removed 86 Pages and 21 Groups last month that are involved in coordinated inauthentic behaviour on behalf of a foreign or government actor and domestic bad actors.   The company said that it has removed 446 Facebook accounts, 4 Pages, 3 Groups and 2 Instagram accounts that originated in Iran and targeted primarily Iraq, and to a lesser extent Israel, the UK, and Afghanistan.   "Our investigation found links to individuals in Tehran. We found this network after reviewing public reporting about a handful of its accounts focused on Israel. Instagram has recently launched IGTV. It is a new app where users can upload videos longer than a minute. It was revealed at an event by the CEO of the company Kevin Systrom. The app hosts videos up to one hour and anyone can upload it either from the dedicated app or from Instagram. Everything is mobile-oriented, meaning videos are in a portrait mode. The app brings some new tools for users who want to make longer videos. You are using the App or services which means that you are the first customer. You are the data and asset of the App developing company. They may not do any direct business with you but your information/data could make the App development company the next millionaire or billionaire. For instance, see the business model of Facebook, they acquired WhatsApp and now WhatsApp got very popular with the power of instant messaging and have entered into the payment business after they saw good customer base. They may even move into banking if the payment business becomes a success. After you are used to the communication method, it becomes difficult to leave a technology behind.
