Milan Mela to host COMPASS 2012

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE COMPASS 2012, the Annual IT Exhibition, would be held at Milan Mela Ground (Opposite Science City), Kolkata from 4th to 7th May, 2012. Keeping in mind the space crunch at Netaji Indoor Stadium, COMPASS has decided to move to much larger size venue at Milan Mela ground. FUJIFILM launches X-S1 Superzoom at Photofair 2012

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE FUJIFILM has announced the latest addition to its X-series digital cameras, FUJIFILM X-S1 in the Indian market. The company will showcase X-S1, the long zoom camera, at the Photofair 2012, in Mumbai. X-S1 FUJIFILM combines 12MP 2/3-inch EXR-CMOS sensor of the Fujifilm X10 with a FUJINON 26x optical precision zoom lens. Optically, the lens comprises of 17 glass elements, which includes four aspherical elements and two ED lenses. It also suits to capturing subjects close up. By selecting Super Macro Mode, users can focus as close as 1cm for frame-filling close-up images. Furthermore, the lens' aperture is made up of nine blades for "bokeh" effect photography. It captures Full 1080p High Definition (1920 x 1080 pixels) video with stereo sound at 30 frames-per-second, which is saved in the H.264 format. The seventeenth edition of the CEIF Photofair 2012 is the third-largest Trade Show in the World and is being held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai. InfoComm to unveil On-Site Certification @ ISE 2012

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE InfoComm is said to again offer attendees of Integrated Systems Europe the chance to take their Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) exams just a few steps from the show floor in 2012 following the successful introduction of on-site certification at ISE 2011. A limited number of exam seats is said to be available on all three days of ISE 2012 - Tuesday 31 January to Thursday 2 February inclusive - and attendees can choose from CTS, CTS-D (Design) and CTS-I (Installation) certifications. In addition, Ericsson will present the Entertainment Matters programme Entertainment Everywhere, The Reinvention of an Industry at CES, inviting headliners from the entertainment business to discuss changing business models brought on by mobility and broadband. Vestberg will emphasize the opportunities that arise when all consumer devices can communicate, and give examples of business potential in industries beyond telecoms. In addition, new research from Ericsson ConsumerLab offers insights on communication habits of young people between the ages of 13 and 17.
