However, he will remain with the company till this month-end. If reports ate to be believed, company’s Director and Executive Vice-Chairman Premkumar Seshadri will now take charge as MD, w.e.f. January 1, 2015. Infosystems spokesperson said in a statement, "Harshavardhan Madhav Chitale has resigned as Managing Director & CEO and as Director of the company with effect from close of business hours on December 31, 2014. The increase of four million domain names globally equates to a growth rate of 1.4 per cent over the first quarter of 2014. Worldwide registrations have grown by 18.6 million, or 7.2 per cent, year over year. The .com and .net TLDs experienced aggregate growth in the second quarter of 2014, reaching a combined total of approximately 128.9 million domain names in the adjusted zone for .com and .net.
