Japan sets a world record with fastest internet speed set at 319 Tbps:  Innovations are the core of Japanese and the innovations have changed the world.   A New technology developed by  Japanese engineers  has broken all the record of data transmission speed of 319 terabits per second, the long-haul transfer of data took place over 3,001 kilometres (1,864 miles) long.   They used a combination of rare earth minerals, a new kind of  fiber optic cable , and a laser system. It's almost twice the 178 Tbps record set in 2020 by UCL engineers.   This speed is almost double of the last fastest recorded internet speed which is 178 Tbps, held by researchers from the  University College of London . Sony stops making PS2 in Japan

BSB, Yahoo! JAPAN enters Partnership

ZTE and SoftBank launch 4G Router

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   ZTE, in cooperation with the Japanese operator SoftBank, has announced that it will release a high-speed 4G Wi-Fi router.  The router, called the SoftBank 102Z, was developed by ZTE. It has a download speed of up to 76Mbps on SoftBank’s 4G AXGP high-speed network and can support ten connecting terminal devices simultaneously. The router also has a lithium ion battery with a capacity of 2800mAh and seven hours of battery life. “SoftBank is very selective when choosing collaborators. Gemalto selected by KDDI

Hulu visits Japan

Japanese viewers will not have free access to Hulu.com, but rather its Hulu Plus service, in which content can be accessed on the web, via connected devices and video game consoles, and on smartphones and tablets. Hulu has bagged licensing deals with Sony Pictures Entertainment, Twentieth Century Fox, Walt Disney Japan, Warner Bros., NBC Universal and CBS. Yahoo Japan to roll Android phone

Japan gets the first 'Mango'

As per market buzz, the manufacturer: Fujitsu-Toshiba plans to bring the device to Japanese stores and carriers in September. It's not expected to come to the U.S. The phone, known as the IS12T will be the first device to run the major revamp of the Windows Phone operating system to version 7.5, an update codenamed "Mango." Coming about a year after the original launch of Windows Phone, Mango brings with it several new features (Microsoft claims 500); including multitasking and a Groups feature that has deep integration with social networks like Face book and Twitter. Japanese manufacturers produce over 40 per cent of the world's NAND Flash and about 15 per cent of the world's DRAM and is a major source of chips used in producing consumer electronics products. The quake, which registered 8.9 on the Richter scale and which caused a massive tsunami seconds later, was about 10 times stronger than the September 1999 Taiwan 7.6 earthquake that disrupted the LCD and computer components supply chain. Japan's two major DRAM fabs, which account for 10 per cent of the world's supply of DRAM, seem to have been spared direct damage.
