Customer wait time has reduced by 53% this year:  India’s leading provider of on-demand cloud communication/telephony solutions, has unveiled interesting insights pertaining to the call center industry in the backdrop of lockdown enforced due to COVID-19.   This study is an analysis of a sample set of 150 million calls made on  Ozonetel’s CloudAgent platform  by nearly 76659 active agents in 2020. The analysis covers both in-bound and outbound calls made on Ozonetel’s platform across various verticals, including ecommerce, food, healthcare, insurance, Ed-tech & real estate call centers. The study also includes how COVID-19 affected customer experience and call center performance.   Key findings of the report:   Callers had to wait less. 57% Indians have planned their next vacation for early 2021: ZestMoney:  ZestMoney, India’s leading AI-driven EMI financing   and “Buy Now Pay Later” (“Pay Later”) platform, today released the findings from a customer survey conducted to understand how Indians are shaping up their travel plans for the coming year. The survey was conducted with a sample of 4600 respondents across key metros and Tier II/III cities in India. The survey reveals that while over 75% respondents did not take a vacation in the last three months, over 57% are planning their next leisure travel in early 2021. Interestingly, an increasing number of people want to opt for domestic travel. Within India, Goa (53.1%), followed by Kerala (32.9%) and Shimla (31.4%) ranked high on the travel bucket-list. Ladakh, Kashmir, Jaipur, Agra and Mysore were the other popular destinations. No UK flights can enter India till Dec 31 fearing new Covid strain:  All flights connecting the UK and India will remain suspended from 23rd December Wednesday till December 31, the   Civil Aviation Ministry   said on Monday in view of the emergence of a mutated variant of the coronavirus there, joining several other countries like Canada, Turkey, Belgium, Italy and Israel that have imposed a similar flight ban.   Moreover, passengers coming from the UK through flights till Tuesday midnight would be tested for COVID-19 on arrival at airports "as a measure of abundant precaution", the civil aviation ministry said. The British government warned that the potent new strain of the virus was "out of control" and imposed a stringent new stay-at-home lockdown from Sunday.   Civil aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri  said on Twitter that the passengers who are found COVID-19-positive would be sent for institutional quarantine set up by states or union territories.
