Hitachi Data and Verizon to jointly develop SDN Solution

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Hitachi Data Systems(TSE: 6501)  and  Verizon Enterprise Solutions(NYSE,NASDAQ:NZ)  have announced an agreement to develop a software-defined storage solution based on  Hitachi Content Platform (HCP)  and  Hitachi Content Platform Anywhere (HCP Anywhere)  for the newVerizon Cloud. Verizon is focussed on developing an ecosystem of enterprise technologies built to run on Verizon Cloud, the company’s new infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and object-based storage offering. HCL Technologies and CSC enter into strategic partnership
