TAIT along with WD organizes TAIT Premier League

May 3, 2015 will be remembered as an important event in TAIT’s calendar. From the moment Sandeep Kulkarni of WD inaugurated the tournament, it was action all the way. The WD TAIT Premier League being held in a new avataar saw a huge turnout at the Central Railway Ground, Parel. The tournament saw a total of 15 games being played out by the 8 teams. There were two groups of 4 teams each. Group A had Creative United, Powersafe Heros, Sound Super Kings, Twinkle Royals, while Group B comprised of Aarvee Achievers, Live Tech Hitters, Pacific Warriors and Zion Champions. Each team played with the other 3 teams in a round robin format. The top two teams from each group qualified for the semi-finals. Each team had to have 3 TAIT members, 1 Vendor member and others as full-time staff in their teams. This uniquely designed format ensured a maximum networking. Rackspace has announced that it will offer Fanatical Support and premium managed services for Microsoft Office 365. With two new offerings, Fanatical Support for Office 365 and Rackspace Managed Services for Office 365, customers can purchase multiple Office 365 services from Rackspace, including migration assistance and tier-one support, as well as premium managed services for Office 365 licences not originally purchased from Rackspace. Rackspace has supported Microsoft Exchange for more than eight years. This new announcement extends the relationship with Microsoft to support customers across the Office 365 suite who are looking for an increased level of support. Samsung strengthens its skill development initiative

Samsung has announced an initiative to set up 18th Samsung Technical School in the country at ITI, Kalamassery in Kerala. This was announced at an event in Thiruvananthapuram where Samsung signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Government Industrial Training Institute, Kalamassery, Kerala. The MoA was signed by Smt. A.
