VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   In order to keep pace with the current technology, the  Ministry of External Affairs has launched the  mPassport Seva mobile app  on Windows and Apple iOS platforms. The app will provide passport-related information on the smartphones. This is an extended service of the Passport Seva Project, executed in Public-Private-Partnership mode with Tata Consultancy Services. The users will be able to search for a  Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)  or District Passport Cell (DPC) in a district where a passport application can be submitted using their Windows and iOS platforms. This can also be searched based on PIN code. For certain States and Districts, the users can search for Police Stations as well. Citizens residing overseas who apply for a passport service in Indian Missions/Posts abroad can also utilize this facility for searching address and other relevant information. HCL will provide IT services to Consumers Energy at the new MTDC, which is located in the Commonwealth Commerce Center in Jackson. MTDC will also serve as HCL’s center of excellence for application and infrastructure-related operations providing significant benefits to HCL’s North American and LATAM customer base.
