Delhi Metro's launches free Wi-Fi

The Delhi Metro has launched ‘High speed Free Wi-Fi’ facility at all on 50 stations of the Blue Line services.  With this Passengers can now use the service between Dwarka Sector 21 and Vaishali to Noida City Centre stations by searching for Wi-Fi options and selecting 'Oui DMRC Free Wifi' for one-time registration, Dr. Mangu Singh, Managing Director, DMRC said in a formally launched the facility from the Rajiv Chowk Metro station.  With this facility, passengers will be able to use all standard Internet applications like e-mail, Facebook, Google, video chat as well as live streaming of cricket and football ..... Absolutely there is deny in the fact that twitter is well established as the go-to platform to know what’s happening in the world right now and to talk about it. The Supreme Court of India unanimously ruled that privacy is a fundamental right because it is intrinsic to the right to life and Twitter reacted with 283,850 conversations on this landmark judgement that will impact the lives of 134 crore Indians. Derek Aberle will step down from Qualcomm

Global chip giant Qualcomm will lose a key man Derek Aberle, president ,Qualcomm's 31st December 2017 after serving for 17 years . His long association with Qualcomm is in between various ongoing legal battles involving Qualcomm’s Technology Licensing(QTL), Qualcomm’s licensing business, which Aberle leds for about a decade and with this It’ll shake the semiconductor industry.  Over the past 30years of legacy Qualcomm has been inventing core technologies that have enabled the mobile revolution and made all modern smartphones possible. VARINDIA welcomes the Apex Courts decision on Right to Privacy is fundamental right, it is a historic judgment that privacy is a fundamental right under Article 21, which declared privacy to be a fundamental right, ‘protected as an intrinsic part of the right to life and personal liberty. This verdict comes two days after the court in a landmark judgment struck down the Islamic divorce practice of instant triple talaq as unconstitutional.  The nine-judge bench unanimously ruled that privacy is a fundamental right under the Indian Constitution. The bench, headed by Chief Justice of India J S Khehar, comprised of Justices J Chelameswar, S A Bobde, R K Agrawal, R F Nariman, A M Sapre, D Y Chandrachud, S K Kaul and S Abdul Nazeer. The apex court overruled the previous two judgments in the M P Sharma and Kharak Singh cases, which had ruled that the right to privacy was not protected by the Constitution.... Read More

LinkedIn’s bug bounty program falls short to safeguard 500 million users

LinkedIn, according to the latest reports, has reported a critical security issue that could allow hackers to spread dangerous malware using its Messenger service.  Although LinkedIn hosts a bug bounty program wherein security researchers can report bugs directly to security@linkedin.com, this bug remained undisclosed until professionals at Checkpoint Technologies found it.  Commenting on this, Ankush Johar, Director of BugsBounty.com, said, “Checkpoint reported the bug on 14 June, 2017, but the messenger service has been running with CV functionality since 2015. It is highly possible that malicious hackers in the underground community already knew about this flaw and could have been using it to spread ransomware and other malicious programs.” Read More
