"Sharing Facebook passwords is dangerous"
VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE ESET warns Indian companies against the practice of asking job interviewers and current employees to share Facebook or other online credentials. It may harm company's reputation and open it up to serious liability, both corporate and individual. Recently Facebook's Chief Privacy Officer Erin Egan has announced that Facebook had seen an increase in reports of employers or others seeking to gain access to people's Facebook and that can lead to "initiating legal action" against employers that demand Facebook passwords from the social networking company.
