VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Karbonn Mobiles plans to launch its tablet PC, the Karbonn K-pad by October this year, which will be priced below Rs. 10,000. "The tablet which will be available in three sizes - 7 inch, 9 inch and 10 inch can also be used as a mobile phone. Karbonn hopes to sell about 40,000 tablets a month," Sudhir Hasija, Chairman, Karbonn Mobiles said. It has invested about Rs. 70 crore for this product and its Android-based Smartphone. The Karbonn A1 phone, based on the Android Froyo 2.2 OS is a 3G-enabled phone and has a 2.8 inch capacitive touch screen, a 3.2 mega pixel camera, 1100mAh battery and supports up to 32 GB expandable memory.
