iPhone 5 to possess 8MP camera

According to a latest report, the fifth iteration of the best-selling smartphone will be thinner than its predecessor and have an 8-megapixel camera. Speculation has been ongoing for months about when the successor to the hugely successful iPhone 4 might hit stores. Until now, new models have been released around midyear, meaning the iPhone 5 is behind schedule. However, as per the industry report, the iPhone 5 is especially complicated to build, because it's so thin. That could also lead to delays. The iPhone 4 was already thinner than the 3GS. The new iPhone will also reportedly include a new wireless chip from Qualcomm. Until now, those chips have been produced by Infineon. Sibal sets up Enquiry Committee

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal set up an enquiry committee under Telecom Secretary to look into cases of delay in the rolling out of mobile services as provisioned under the USOF scheme against the backdrop of allegations of favouring Reliance Communications by reducing penalty on the company. "I therefore consider to set-up a committee under chairmanship of Secretary, Telecom, including members of USOF, Finance and legal advisor. The committee may consider all aspects and suggest appropriate action that may be required in the facts and circumstances of the cases of delays," kapil Sibal noted. Huawei may go for $120 million deal with Aircel

It is believed that Huawei may ink a three-year MS deal for handling the gamut of network management, planning and maintenance of Aircel's GSM networks in Maharashtra & Goa, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh andKerala circles. Huawei will also be responsible for the upkeep of key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs). Deal details remain under wraps but sources familiar with the talks claimed. Rupee symbol software free of cost

The new rupee symbol is said to be available in only Unicode. On the other hand, the PC manufacturers have unveiled that the symbol of the Indian rupee will appear on computer keyboards from January 2012. The rupee symbol will appear in the same row where the numerals and symbols of other currencies exist. BMC Software appoints Suhas Kelkar as the CTO
