TP-LINK rolls out Router Archer C50

TP-LINK has launched AC1200 Wireless Dual Band Router Archer C50 for seamless HD streaming, online gaming and other bandwidth-intensive tasks. RailTel launches Wi-Fi service at Bhubaneswar in collaboration with Google

Railtel has launched public WiFi at Bhubaneswar station effective 17th April, 2016. The service was launched in the presence of Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Union Minister of Railways , and dedicated the service to the large number of commuters of Bhubaneswar station. The Wi-Fi facility for the visitors of Bhubaneswar station has been commissioned by RailTel in association with Google for providing high-speed internet experience to the commuters. RailTel Corporation of India Ltd, a Mini-Ratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has been mandated by the Railways Ministry to provide Wi-Fi for the use of passengers at the A1, A & B category railway stations... Vodafone welcomes spectrum harmonization initiative by Government

The Government has recently taken initiatives to harmonize spectrum in select bands and reduce the subscriber usage charges (SUCs) which will lead to growth of telecom sector. Vodafone India has welcomed the government’s initiative. Commenting on the proposed spectrum harmonization, Sunil Sood, MD & CEO, Vodafone India , said, “Harmonizing the available spectrum to offer additional quantum via auction is another progressive step by the Government (after spectrum trading and sharing), to maximize efficiency of this precious resource. With Digital India as the guiding vision and consumer demands evolving from voice to data, the telecom industry increasingly needs more of quality spectrum to be made available at reasonable prices.
