Epson redefines its Full HD Projector Range with new features

In addition to improved brightness and contrast ratio specifications, the EH-TW5300 is the entry-level full-HD projector in the Epson’s range to introduce several advanced features that used to be found only in Epson’s high-end home theatre models. These include frame interpolation, image enhancement and 2D to 3D conversion. The EH-TW5300 also has 3D projection features that have made Epson renowned for its 3D-image quality. These include its 3LCD technology and an active, 480Hz 3D drive system that is twice as fast as competitors – together, these render 3D images with high colour brightness. It also employs an active 3D glasses system that uses Bluetooth instead of infrared signals to synchronize the 3D frames being projected with the blackout phases of the active 3D glasses... Epson and Mumbai Police led raid of counterfeit ink manufacturing unit

In an effort to curb the sale of counterfeit ink bottles and to protect the rights of its customers, Epson has recently increased its vigilance with regard to manufacturers and dealers of counterfeit Epson Ink bottles. On the basis of the Epson vigilance team’s information, the Mumbai Police, in a swift and well-coordinated action, recently raided the premises of a dealer in Malad, Mumbai. This dealer was involved in the manufacture and supply of counterfeit Epson Ink bottles in Mumbai and to other parts of the country. The manufacturer of the Epson counterfeit Ink bottles was arrested and charged under the prevailing laws of the land with counterfeiting and violating intellectual property rights and subsequently remanded to judicial custody. Large quantities of Ink bottles, Epson holograms, and Epson Stickers & Packaging materials have been seized. The seized materials are worth more than 1.1 million rupees. Epson unveils 3D Home Theatre Projector – EH-TW8200 in India

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Epson  has announced expansion of its 3D home theatre projectors lineup with the launch of EH-TW8200.  Featuring a contrast ratio of 600,000:1, EH-TW8200 comes equipped with a zoom range of 2.1X that allows for a sharp focus and with the native resolution of 1920 x 1080. The projector also features a 47-per cent horizontal shift, a category first, presenting users with an extensive range of projector placement possibilities. For the viewers to stay focussed on the screen without any air or noise distracting them, the projector is enhanced with front exhausts. Epson's First Portable Scanner

Epson's "WorkForce"Series unveiled

Epson appoints Toshiyuki Kasai as President
