Intel Launches Intel Education Digital Wellness Program in Assam

Taking the Digital India commitment forward, Intel India has launched the Intel Education Digital Wellness Program in Assam. This also includes the release of an Assamese version of Digital Wellness curriculum for students and teachers in government schools. As part of this initiative, Intel India will closely work with the education ecosystem in Assam to enable a safe cyberspace for the students and youth. The announcement comes as the latest in a series of engagements that Intel has been running in the state since 2006. The Intel Education Digital Wellness Program, developed by Intel Security Group is an empowerment program for students and youth to make them aware of the possible risks of using the Internet and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to avoid such risks and stay safe and secure while on the Internet. SSTL and Reliance Communications to merge

Sistema JSFC and the CIS have announced the signing of binding documents regarding the merger of Sistema’s Indian telecommunications business with business of Reliance Communications. The signed documentation provides for the demerger of the telecommunication business from Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd (SSTL) and its merger with the telecommunications business of Reliance Communications Ltd (RCom) based on a Merger Scheme to be approved by Indian courts. As a result of the merger, SSTL will acquire and hold a 10% equity stake in RCom besides SSTL planning to pay off existing debt prior to the completion of the transaction. Following the completion of the transaction, RCom will take responsibility for payment of SSTL’s frequency spectrum licensing fees payable by installments to the Department of Telecommunications of India. Microsoft partners with e-commerce companies to drive Cloud innovation

To drive innovation in the fast-evolving e-commerce industry, Microsoft has entered into broad-ranging agreements with JustDial, PayTm and Snapdeal, a special cloud initiative for start-ups aligned to smart cities, and availability of its flagship devices – Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL, and Microsoft Surface Pro 4 in December and January, respectively.  Microsoft also showcased the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 at the event. MAIT organizes industry roundtable with DeiTY Secretary
