Infosys BPO opens new center in the Netherlands

Anand Naik bids adieu to Symantec India

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   As per the latest update, it has been revealed that industry veteran Anand Naik has quit  Symantec . He was Managing Director of Symantec for India & SAARC since April 2012.  Naik joined Symantec in 2006 executing various roles at the company with success starting from pre-sales engineer, Director (west) – technology to Director-technology sales for India and SAARC. Before he joined Symantec, he was head of GSA Team at IBM from 2004 to 2006 before his stint for four years at EITA; Sun MicroSystems.  A spokesperson from Symantec India said,  “Anand Naik, Managing Director, Sales, Symantec in India  has left Symantec on Nov 01, 2013 to pursue entrepreneurial aspirations. Kaspersky Internet Security earns top marks by independent test lab

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   According to the test conducted by Dennis Technology Labs,  Kaspersky Lab  has announced that its security solution for home users, Internet Security has scored higher than any of the other eight products participating in the Home Anti-Virus Protection test in Q3 2013. Kaspersky Lab’s product earned the AAA rating, with a total of 1040 points  just eight points shy of the total possible maximum. In the Protection Ratings scenario, in which the effectiveness of a product’s anti-malware protection is measured, Kaspersky Lab’s solution earned 300 points. In the Legitimate Software Ratings test, which shows how security software programs affect the performance of legitimate applications, Kaspersky Internet Security earned 740 points, which is considerably higher than the average result achieved by the other test participants (688).
