HP helps businesses with new App Transformation Solutions

Global IP traffic to grow three-fold between 2012 and 2017: Cisco

It revealed the information that the global Internet protocol (IP) traffic will grow three-fold between 2012 and 2017. India IP traffic (Fixed and Mobile) is expected to reach an annual run rate of 33.5 exabytes in 2017 which is equivalent to 8 billion DVDs per year. On a monthly basis, India IP traffic is expected to reach nearly 2.8 exabytes per month by 2017, up from about 454 petabytes per month in 2012. Global IP traffic (fixed and mobile) is expected to reach an annual run rate of 1.4 zettabytes - more than a trillion gigabytes per year – by 2017.
