Thriveni will implement enterprise SAP ERP for improving process efficiency and ensuring greater business insights. IBM will be the systems integrator for the entire deployment and will also provide application management support (AMS) for the next five years. The ERP system will run on IBM's Systems X server and storage. As part of the deal, IBM will help Thriveni integrate its entire operation onto a single IT platform encompassing different business units, including finance, purchasing, planning & budgeting, plant & project operations, and human resource. The Brocade VDX switches support VCS fabric technology, enabling enterprises to gracefully evolve their traditional network architectures to an Ethernet fabric in order to better support virtualized and cloud-optimized data centers.
