mFine bags Rs 251 Cr in Series C round led by Beenext:  mFine   has raised Rs 251 crore or SGD 46.06 million in its Series C round led by existing backer   Beenext   and participated by several others. This is the second fundraise for the Bengaluru-based venture this year.   Beenext led the round with SGD 13.55 million Rs 74 crore while Helios Heritas and 57 stars Meditech have invested SGD 10.82 Rs 59 crore million and 9.51 million Rs 52 crore respectively, the company’s regulatory filings in Singapore show.   Existing investor  SBI Ven Capital  has put in SGD 8.11 million Rs 44.2 crore whereas Seabright has invested SGD 2.71 million. Various Bank Union and Political parties to join the Bharat Bandh on 27th Sept:  The   Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) , the umbrella body of over 40 farm unions leading the farmers' agitation against the Centre's three farm laws, has called for nationwide strike -  Bharat Bandh   - on 27 September, the day their ongoing protest completes 10 months.   Several opposition parties have backed the farmers' demand for a bandh. Centre announces big reforms in auto, telecom sectors:  The   cabinet   has come out with a strong move to push the economy and announced some big reforms in the automobile and telecom sectors of India ,starting from production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme to rationalising AGR definition to digitising KYC.   Union minister Anurag Thakur   said the government has approved the PLI scheme in the auto and drone industries. At the same time, the   Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw   said the Union cabinet rationalised the adjusted gross revenue (AGR) definition by excluding non-telecom revenue of telcos from payment of statutory levies. AGR refers to revenues that are considered for payment of statutory dues.   He said Rs 26,058 crore has been allocated to both these sectors for the next five years -- Rs 25,938 crore to the auto sector and Rs 120 crore to the done sector. It is expected to bring in investments close to Rs 4,75,000 crore over the next five years, he said.... Read More

Recent tariff changes to benefit Vi, Airtel, Jio:  The three private telecom operators of the nation,   Vodafone Idea ,   Bharti Airtel , and   Reliance Jio   will certainly benefit from the recent changes in tariffs and offers provided to the customers. In the September quarter, multiple things took place, such as telcos removed their base plans to earn more out of low average revenue per user (ARPU) customers. Then the telcos introduced bulk data plans with new validities, which were slightly on the more expensive end. Telcos even withdrew the offers and benefits (talktime and data) that they were providing to their customers.   Due to this consumer spending is going to increase substantially, which will help the operators in increasing their ARPU. With their ARPU slightly increased, the operators are expected to continue exploring ways to expand their subscriber market share until 5G comes, but that is a topic of discussion for some other day.   The  pandemic  situation has improved
