HTC Radar features a hardware camera button which is said to capture images while the f/2.2 aperture lens and back-illuminated sensor provide improved low-light performance. With 28mm wide-angle lenses one can capture more of the scene in front of you while the new panoramic feature creates dramatic pictures of skylines and landscapes. HTC Radar can shoot bright and vibrant HD (720p) videos and HTC Photo Enhancer quickly touches up pictures and uploads them to Facebook. As per market buzz, the manufacturer: Fujitsu-Toshiba plans to bring the device to Japanese stores and carriers in September. It's not expected to come to the U.S. The phone, known as the IS12T will be the first device to run the major revamp of the Windows Phone operating system to version 7.5, an update codenamed "Mango." Coming about a year after the original launch of Windows Phone, Mango brings with it several new features (Microsoft claims 500); including multitasking and a Groups feature that has deep integration with social networks like Face book and Twitter. It also has powerful voice-to-text features. The IS12T has other features that go beyond the new OS. VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Microsoft has made the latest version of its mobile phone software available to handset partners as it seeks to claw back market share from Apple and Google. The Redmond, Washington-based personal computer software powerhouse said the update to its Windows Phone operating system, code-named "Mango," features over 500 new features and faster browsing with Internet Explorer 9 (IE9). Microsoft unveiled Mango in May, promising it will be available by year's end for free to existing Windows Phone 7 customers and will ship on new phones from Samsung, LG and HTC and new partners Acer, Fujitsu and ZTE. Microsoft said it is also working on a Mango handset in its labs with new partner Nokia, the Finnish mobile phone titan which announced in February it would begin using Microsoft's platform as its smartphone operating system.
