Huawei to start smartphone manufacturing in India

Reaffirming its commitment to India, Huawei will start to manufacture smartphones in India in collaboration with the leading Sketch-to-Scale solutions provider, Flex, in October. Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Union Minister, Information & Technology, Law and Justice, made the announcement at Huawei’s “Make in India” inauguration ceremony in the Indian capital, New Delhi. Starting from first week of October 2016, the Flex manufacturing plant in Chennai will manufacture one of the Honor smartphones models. The plant will have the capacity to make three million units by the end of 2017. SUSE teams up with ESDS to offer hosted services

SUSE has appointed Exuberant Support for Data Services (ESDS) , a Nashik-based cloud hosting firm, as its first Indian Cloud Service Partner. SUSE is the first open-source company to sign up with an Indian cloud service provider to offer hosted services in the market. Both companies will collaborate to offer an extensive computing environment for enterprises to run their business-critical applications and workloads.
