Agilent brings Real-Time PXA Spectrum Analyzers

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Agilent Technologies Inc.  has announced the availability of real-time spectrum analysis (RTSA) for its PXA X-Series signal analyzers. Agilent’s RTSA delivers enhanced probability of intercept (POI), analysis bandwidth, sensitivity, and frequency range – capabilities that make it the best way for system developers and signal analysts to see, capture and understand highly elusive signals. To help detect more signals in less time,  Agilent’s real-time PXA  provides  75-dB spurious-free dynamic range across analysis bandwidths of up to 160 MHz. E4982A LCR meter unveiled

The E4982A LCR meter offers PC connectivity via GPIB, LAN and USB; an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface; a10.4-inch display; and a compact design with 277-mm depth. The Agilent E4982A comes with 0.8 percent basic impedance measurement accuracy and repeatable measurements with small measurement variation. It also delivers measurement speeds of 0.9 ms, 2.1ms or 3.7 ms. The meter’s accuracy improves test quality, while its measurement speed translates into fast test throughput. Agilent Technologies announces VGA Display Handheld Oscilloscope

For enhanced safety, both models include two isolated input channels, certified to CAT III600 V, that protect users and prevent damages to devices when performing floating measurements. The U1610A has a 100 MHz bandwidth and 1 GSa/s sampling rate while the U1620A provides 200 MHz bandwidth and 2 GSa/s sampling rate. With a maximum memory depth of 2 Mpts, users can capture non-repeating signals. This also allows users to capture pulse width modulated waveforms commonly found in Variable Frequency Drive and power inverter systems over a wider time base. Agilent Technologies enters into Agreement with Accelicon Technologies

Agilent signs agreement to acquire assets of A2

The acquisition includes substantially all of A2 Technologies' intellectual property, technology, employees and its spectroscopy product portfolio. Subject to customary closing conditions, the transaction is expected to be final in mid-February. Financial details were not disclosed.
