BSEL acquires 51.1% stake

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Birla Shloka Edutech Limited (BSEL) has announced the acquisition of 51.1% stake in Ojus Healthcare Private Ltd. Owing to the majority ownership, Ojus Healthcare has allotted 12,50,000 equity shares and has become a subsidiary of BSEL. Under the terms of acquisition, the operations of Ojus will be managed jointly by BSEL and Ojus’s promoters. Further, two of BSEL’s personnel (Vijay Mishra and Sunil Abraham) have duly been appointed on the Board of Ojus. N. The links point to Russian web pages that ultimately attempt to infect Windows PCs using the Blackhole exploit kit. At present the dangerous tweets say "It's you on photo?" or "It's about you?", followed by a link. The cybercriminals behind the campaign could change the wording used in the dangerous tweets at any time. Kaspersky Lab's Cyber-Espionage Campaign

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Kaspersky Lab researchers have recently announced the results of a joint investigation with Seculert, a Threat Detection company, regarding “Madi”, an active cyber-espionage campaign targeting victims in the Middle East.  Kaspersky Lab and Seculert worked together to sinkhole the Madi Command & Control (C&C) servers to monitor the campaign. Kaspersky Lab and Seculert identified more than 800 victims located in Iran, Israel and select countries across the globe connecting to the C&Cs over the past eight months.  In addition, examination of the malware identified an unusual amount of religious and political “distraction” documents and images that were dropped when the initial infection occurred.  “While the malware and infrastructure is very basic compared to other similar projects, the Madi attackers have been able to conduct a sustained surveillance operation against high-profile victims. CMHK, Ericsson to build TD-LTE Network

Leveraging on the advantage of the LTE FDD installed base, Ericsson will also upgrade the operator’s existing Evolved Packet Core (EPC) network. Under the agreement, Ericsson will deliver the TD-LTE radio access network, network management using Ericsson OSS-RC, Evolved Packet Core network expansion and upgrade, consulting and systems integration services as well as related design, training and support services.
