Alcatel announces Re-Launch of its A310” Tablet with new specifications

Alcatel has relaunched A3 10” tablet from its A series. The Alcatel A3 10 comes with a 10’’HD IPS Display (1280 x 800 pixels) with 16M colours. It features ergonomic design and a slim 3D texturized back cover. Equipped with a 4,600mAh non-removable battery, the tablet also packs an 8MP primary and 5MP front camera for snapshots and video calls. Running on Android N 7.0, the device supports 4G LTE connectivity and is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor alongside 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM of storage. Alcatel has introduced the A3 10’’ tablet for Rs.9,999 in India. The A3 10 is a 4G LTE- supported device and will be now available exclusively at Flipkart from 15th June. Praveen Valecha, Regional Director, Alcatel India, said, “The new A310 was designed to provide our users with a complete immersive experience. Alcatel-Lucent to empower DEN Networks to launch ultra-broadband Internet connectivity

Alcatel-Lucent is to help cable operator DEN Networks to launch ultra-broadband Internet connectivity to homes and businesses using GPON fixed access, IP routing and aggregation technologies. With a customer base for its cable TV service of 13 million throughout 200 cities, DEN Networks plans to use fiber-optic access technology to expand its “DEN Boomband” broadband service to 8.5 million city homes within three years. Pradeep Parameswaran of DEN Networks said, “Broadband is our key thrust area and we constantly strive to make the experience fast and consistent for our customers. Alcatel-Lucent and INEO to update French Air Force's Communication Networks

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Alcatel-Lucent and INEO have announced the official signing of the "RDIP-Air" (for air force base Internet Protocol service networks) Partnership Agreement with the Direction Generale de l'Armement (DGA), the French defense agency. Closely associated on this project as industrial partners, Alcatel-Lucent and INEO Defense have also the support of financial partners: Caisse des Depots and the SEIEF investment company (South Europe Infrastructure Equity Finance). This Public-Private Partnership (PPP) is backed by a 16-year contract valued at Euro350 million. As part of this contract, Alcatel-Lucent - as the consortium lead - will coordinate the design, deployment, financing, management and maintenance of IP (Internet Protocol)-based telecommunication networks at French metropolitan air force bases.
