Carrier Cloud Services with enhanced SmartCloud

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Following their press releases issued on May 23, 2012 and June 14, 2012, Seagate  and LaCie S.A. have announced the completion of the purchase by Seagate of all of the shares of Philippe Spruch and his affiliate, representing 64.5% of the outstanding shares of LaCie for a provisional price of €4.05 per share. The price payable to Philippe Spruch and his affiliate may be increased by 3%, to €4.17 per share, in the event that within six months following today's date. The completion of the transaction follows the required clearances from the French Ministry of Finance and the US and German Antitrust Authorities. VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE As the London 2012 Olympics opening event draws near, Trend Micro Researchers have spotted some spammed messages using the 2012 Olympics as bait, one involved an email that says "winning notification", another message asks for personal details in exchange for a prize, and another that asks users to notify a specific contact person. Users who fall for any of these traps are at risk of having their information stolen or their machines infected with malware. Some spam may even lead to monetary loss. Amit Nath, Country Manager - India and SAARC, Trend Micro, said, "Attackers are still using these because these scams are still giving them successful margins. Social engineering has worked for years and there are little signs of that changing. HP wins Court Ruling in Itanium Litigation

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   It has been recently announced that HP has issued the following statement in response to today's proposed ruling in the ongoing litigation with Oracle relating to the Intel Itanium platform: "Today's proposed ruling is a tremendous win for HP and its customers. The Superior Court of the State of California, Santa Clara County, has confirmed the existence of a contract between HP and Oracle that requires Oracle to port its software products to HP's Itanium-based servers. We expect Oracle to comply with its contractual obligation as ordered by the Court." In this action for declaratory relief, the Court finds in favour of HP and against Oracle on both the breach of contract and promissory estoppel causes of action brought by HP.
