Cisco Global Cloud Index reveals Cloud Traffic to quadruple by 2019

After the release, the fifth annual Cisco Global Cloud Index (2014-2019) forecasts that global cloud traffic will more than quadruple by the end of 2019, from 2.1 to 8.6 zettabytes (ZB), outpacing the growth of total global data center traffic, which is forecast to triple during the same time frame (from 3.4 to 10.4 ZB). HP announces seizure of over Rs 35.5 crore counterfeit print cartridges by local authorities

HP has announced the seizure of over Rs.35.5 crore worth of counterfeit print cartridges and components by local authorities in 46 cities across 18 states in India, protecting customers from fraudulent products. “With counterfeit HP print cartridges, customers purchase what they often assume to be a genuine HP product, but they instead receive a cartridge that provides them with an inferior print experience. HP is committed to protect our customers and ensure they receive the right cartridge that prints in high quality when they choose Original HP print cartridges,” said HP spokesperson. Dell advances Circular Economy Model for IT Industry

Dell has announced additional progress against its circular economy initiatives, including expansion of its closed-loop recycled plastic supply chain, introduction of reclaimed carbon-fiber source materials and new industry collaborations to advance global circular practices. Dell has partnered with supplier SABIC to recycle excess carbon fiber and scrap raw materials into new Dell products beginning in late 2015. Initially, select Latitude and Alienware products will contain recycled carbon fiber, with plans to expand across these two product portfolios in 2016.
