Quantum reports Approval of Patent On Core Technologies

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Quantum Secure  has announced approval of a U.S. patent covering core elements of the company's SAFE enterprise software suite. The U.S. Patent (Patent Number: US 8,234,704 B2), which covers “Physical Access Control and Security Monitoring Systems for Enforcement of Standardized Rules”, encompasses elements fundamental to the company's SAFE software suite, including integration of data and events to and from physical access control and security monitoring systems and a rules-based policy engine that enforces security policies and generates actionable events. The patent also covers presentation of signals from disparate security devices in a common standard format, and system response that includes generating an alarm, alerting official personnel and/or preventing access to an area of a site based on signal data.... Polycom RealPresence Platform to power OVCC Service Providers

IBM launches CoE at ABES and HRGI

Aircel launches Pocket Internet Games Card

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Aircel , in collaboration with DDB Mudra Max, has organized an “exhilarating and exciting” Flash mob to promote their newly-launched Pocket Internet Games card. The flash mob was executed in a rather unique style. Instead of the normal dance and music performance, the crowd got to witness live gaming activities such as Boxing and Football.  The event started with two men clad in casual clothes appearing in the centre of the mall and getting into a mock heated argument in “Tamil”, thereby catching the attention of the people at the Mall.  Next minute, the Rocky theme song was played and the two men changed into their boxing attire – Blue and Red shorts. The launch is scheduled for mid-December, this year. Spice has plans for the smartphone segment considering the market potential.
