Spice to Come Up with Smartphone Series 
Spice has announced their plans of coming up with a segment-defining range of smart phones which offer advanced technology at very strategic price points. The launch is scheduled for mid-December, this year.
Spice has plans for the smartphone segment considering the market potential. It is estimated that the number of global smartphone users will exceed 1 billion by 2013. While a study predicts that 26 out of every 100 phones sold globally this year will be smartphones, by 2015, smartphones will make up 40% of the total handsets sold across the world. The smartphone segment is forecast to see a much higher growth at 63.4% from 2011-15 and may achieve a shipment of 77.5 million by 2015 in the Indian market....See More

IFFCO selects KPIT Cummins to implement OTM

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE IFFCO has announced that it has selected KPIT Cummins to strengthen its supply chain execution using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). As part of this strategic engagement, KPIT Cummins will build a comprehensive transportation management platform to integrate IFFCO group's supply chain processes as well as those of its external carriers. This is one of the largest OTM implementations in the Middle East and will be completed in 14 months. The scope of this multidimensional transformational project includes streamlining of all logistics and transportation - domestic and international - across IFFCO's entire supply chain from inbound raw and packing materials to finished goods distribution.
