Fujifilm commences Photography League in India

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   FUJIFILM India  has launched a unique Social Media campaign called Indian Photography League. It is aimed at photography enthusiasts to contribute their photographs on the monthly themes. The themes have been kept to capture the essence of India in its entirety and are based on places, seasons, festivals, sports and food. The selected photographs will be awarded and will also be a part of the prestigious annual calendar of the company which will be launched by the photography giant by the end of 2013. Improving Customer Experience tops Big Data Agenda

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   A new report released by IBM and the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford reveals that most big data initiatives currently being deployed by organizations are aimed at improving the customer experience.  Yet, despite the strong focus on the customer, less than half of the organizations engaged in active  big data initiatives  are currently collecting and analyzing external sources of data, like social media.  One reason is that many organizations are struggling to address and manage for the uncertainty inherent within certain types of data, such as the weather, the economy, or the sentiment and truthfulness of people expressed on social networks.... Social Media Command centre opened

ASSOCHAM: Indian urban youth are less-interested in social media profiles

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE A survey has been conducted by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) which revealed that nearly 30 per cent of Indian urban youth have believed to deactivate or deleted their accounts and profiles from these websites and it is no longer a craze among them.
