NMEC established in India

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE NEC has announced a plan to establish an NEC Mobile Network Excellence Center (NMEC) for the offshore development of mobile communication systems in Chennai, India in April this year. The NMEC is the first mobile communication system development center that the NEC Group will establish in India. The center will design and develop hardware and software for the PASOLINK series of ultra-compact microwave communication systems, widely accepted as key products for mobile backhaul in the global market. Initially, the NMEC will be located in the NEC India office in Chennai. The center is expected to relocate to a new office in Chennai by the end of this year. "NEC will recruit local talent and work closely with Indian development partners in order to create a global development system. Those results were achieved with the FortiGate-3950B, Fortinet's next-generation firewall appliance for large enterprise and data center environments, and are based on the tests performed using Breaking Point security testing products and NSS Labs test criteria methodology. Following the NSS Labs IPS testing methodology, two L4 and L7 tests were conducted on the Fortigate-3950B appliance, one with IPS optimization enabled and the other without. The traffic set up was unidirectional and a large number of IP addresses were used on both the client and server sides to provide the most realistic testing conditions that reflect the largest number of devices present on a network.
