Amdocs and NASSCOM Foundation together to drive Digital Literacy

Amdocs has partnered with NASSCOM Foundation, a corporate social responsibility arm of NASSCOM, to establish National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM) centres in Gurgaon and Pune. The centres will train more than 3,000 underprivileged people this year to become digitally literate. “We are glad to partner with Amdocs India to set up NDLM centres. Amdocs India has been a consistent contributor towards the skill development and education of less-privileged communities.  They were the biggest contributor among all our registered corporate partners in the recently concluded NASSCOM Foundation Digital Literacy Week. Amdocs to buy Comverse BSS Assets worth $272 Million

Amdocs has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a substantial majority of Comverse’s business support systems (BSS) business unit assets for approximately $272 million in cash, subject to customary closing conditions. The Boards of Directors of Comverse and Amdocs have approved the transaction which, subject to the satisfaction of the conditions to closing, is expected to be completed before the end of September 2015. “With Amdocs’ broad range of products and services, this agreement will only serve to benefit existing Comverse BSS customers.
